Any invoices not settled within 7 days will incur interest charges of 8% per annum.
All deposit payments should have cleared the Certain X account a minimum of 28 days prior to loading. No stand will be manufactured/refurbished until payment has cleared. Any work placed or late payment within 28 days of show opening may be liable to a surcharge.
Design. One concept design and one round of modifications are included in the original pitch. Any revisions outside this are chargeable and not dependent on the award of the contract. All design concepts, working drawings and visuals remain the intellectual property of Certain X and are subject to copyright.
Items not included in the above estimate are as follows unless listed within the specification; telecom and data lines, any AV, floral decor, computer equipment, hospitality requirements including personnel, consumables, and any other graphics, mains power, site storage any build permits or early access. Only the items specified above have been allowed for in the estimate. Any changes or queries must be notified immediately in writing.
All exhibition stand elements during production and transportation are covered by Certain X Ltd insurance. During the period of the build-up, show, and subsequent removal, the insurance of the stand and contents (including AV) is the responsibility of the client. Client’s own exhibits and/or marketing material are the responsibility of the client during transport, build of show, removal and storage. This also includes clients’ AV laptops and suchlike. For high-value items such as AV screens prototype products, we recommend show security or storing with the approved agents during the build and break of the show. You may also want to consider show day security for overnight. All items are on hire unless otherwise stated.
Any client product or other equipment to be transported by Certain X must be notified 28 days prior to loading. This includes individual consignment size i.e. pallet or box size and recorded weight. Failure to inform Certain X of this may lead to charges for changing vehicle type, express deliveries etc. Insurance of said items remains the responsibility of the client.
The electrical content and services will be subject to a late order surcharge of 25% by the venue-approved contractor. These charges will be passed on to the client. Regrettably, Certain X Ltd cannot accept any liability for any shortcomings of the approved contractors for either service or standard of fittings. This also includes third-party furniture suppliers/beverage machine suppliers, audiovisual and rigging/plumbing/flooring services.
Client to advise on any items to be kept after the show before the build commences. Certain X Ltd will then arrange delivery to client or advise on a monthly storage/delivery charge. If no notification is received within 14 days of show closing, Certain X Ltd will dispose of any outstanding items at a cost to client.
Certain X cannot be held liable for any cross-channel freight delays in way of strike action, Customs issues, adverse weather conditions or clandestine/immigration-associated issues. We will endeavour to issue prior warnings reference transit times, but additional costs may be incurred and passed on. This relates to outward and inbound journeys. Certain X are not liable for customs charges on import or export taxes/duties temporary or otherwise on any product or items relating/belonging to client. Carnets will be costed for and reconciled to the client. Costs will be advised.
All graphics orders should be with Certain X Ltd no later than 28 days prior to show opening. Any graphics forwarded later than this may incur a 25% surcharge and cannot be guaranteed completion. All graphics should be supplied as artwork-ready, please request our artwork specification guide if you are unsure. Artwork charges are currently £60ph.
Visualisations are merely illustrative aids and do not necessarily correspond with specifications. Only the items listed in the above specification have been allowed for and formulate the contract. Any omissions/alterations or queries must be notified immediately.

Return of goods
- We will accept the return of goods from you only:
- By prior arrangement (confirmed in writing by us)
- On payment of an agreed handling charge (unless the goods were defective when delivered); and
- In all cases, where the goods are as fit for sale in their return as they were on delivery.
